Really cute game, and easy enough to play with a track pad too! I just wish you got a special ending screen if you were able to finish the shift. The art's super cute.

A neat little game. I still don't exactly know what the cane icon is supposed to represent, but I like to imagine that they used it to do a little jig and danced their troubles away.

Could’ve been clearer, yeah. It represents disability

Yayayay, it's out! Love all these horrible little beasties. Everyone did such a great job! :D

Been meaning to play this proper for a bit now. I messed around a bit at the end of the jam and remember thinking the movement and controls were nice and tight, and that holds true. The branching paths in the level design makes it fun to explore too, searching for cameos and extra cash along the way.

If I have any complaints, it's that I think the health/score could either be a bit smaller, or moved to the bottom of the screen, since the action always moves upward, and it can get in the way of seeing what you've got coming up next.

I also think it could be nice if you were to implement holding the shoot button to rapid fire too (maybe it's a bit slower?) just as an accessibility option for some players.

Cool game though! And trans rights! <3

Thx for playing the game Bleak!

"Health/score could either be a bit smaller, or moved to the bottom of the screen"
Fair point, I'll see if I can tweak some stuff to make it less crowded

"Rapid fire as accessibility (A bit slower)"
I think I can do that ✅

Thx for the review Bleak, I'll probably implement these stuff when I have the time! Trans rights 💙

bleak-creep you are COOL

I really like this one. The music's nice and soothing, but also kind of inspirational; it sets a great tone right away. The puzzles usually aren't too difficult, but some give you a nice sense of challenge, and the controls and concept are very easy to understand from the onset. It's a solid game.

This is the best mobile jam game. Such a fragile little guy.

I kinda like how strange these routes can get; it's unusual playing a dating game where less than half of the romantic interests are even remotely human, but you get to take things into some wild directions as a result. I never knew exactly what I was in for going into each date, but they're all pretty satisfying in their own way. Nice job with this!

Stanpai responds:

Thank you Bleak!
I'm also quite happy to know you and I share the same #1 pick.
Vibe on!

Making the childhood best friend into a trash can is pure genius. Love that you were able to record so much voice acting for this, it adds an extra layer of charm to your characters, and the diverse range of art styles is fantastic as well. Great job with this everyone!

In case you ever look back.

Super Meat Boy is one of the best games I've played in a very long time. It's everything that games today lack. The controls are awesome, the story is silly and strange, and the levels are extremely challenging. You guys did a brilliant job, every last bit of my free time has been sucked away by the little meat sack.

Congrats on a modern classic.

Looks good, sounds irritating.

The graphics themselves are quite good, though I'm not sure why she's missing the top half of her hair. The biggest issue is that the music is incredibly obnoxious, it doesn't seem to fit in with the idea at all.

I write sad stories (with hope!) and then animate them in cute pastels to lull you into a false sense of security.
